As part of our school’s project, we invited local (in South Devon) school children to upcycle a Rod & Ben’s pot. Amaya was so happy with her creation she didn’t want to give it to us, which is fair enough! Here’s more about her project from her:

I decided to turn my soup pot into a useful, colourful mini-bin. I have made a special handle and a plaque that says:
Design and created by 🙂 Amaya 🙂
It also says how many centimetres of rubbish you have got in there on the back.
I had excess string so I turned it into a chain saying mini-bin. I used the string to attach the lid to the pot. It is for small rubbish that can be put on the compost, like pencil shavings and orange peel.
I hope you like it.
Well we love it! Especially how you’ve chosen to measure the amount of rubbish, the composting message and the wonderful decoration. Thank you Amaya!
